3 yo on and off arm pain

A couple of days ago ds was sitting on the sofa watching TV and suddenly started crying saying that his left arm hurt. There was no bruising on it and he hadn't fallen of the sofa. I asked him if he had banged it against anything and he said no.

He was crying for a around 5 to 10 mins (he is quite hardy and normally doesn't cry if he falls/bangs himself) and holding his left arm against his body as if he was wearing a sling. When I asked him to show him exactly where it hurt he touched the middle of his forearm, not the wrist or elbow.

After this 5 or 10 mins, he calmed down and said it wasn't hurting anymore and he looked fine for the rest of the day and all of yesterday (he went to school and is very active there, they didn't mention anything and they are good at spotting this kind of thing).

However, it's happened again today (same arm) while he was in the park with Dh, no visible fall or injury but he started crying saying it hurt and then 10 mins later he was fine.

Is this something we should be worried about or is it more likely to be a little cramp or something like that?

I know this is extremely old but I’m just wondering what this turned out to be? X
