Diarrhoea and vomiting with chickenpox?

Just that really, has anyone had any experience of d and v with chickenpox? Ds3 was very sick in the night and has had one bad nappy, 12 hours after the spots coming out. Really hoping he hasn't been really unlucky to get a tummy bug on top of cp!

My eldest was sick a few hours before the spots appeared. He was generally unwell before it was obvious what was really wrong.

Thank you for the reply, I stupidly used dr google, which really confused me. Dr just rang me back, saying we should treat it as a stomach bug. I'm supposed to be off on a night out with mum and dad babysitting tonight. Been looking forward to it for ages, typical eh?
