Lip tie

I have another thread on here about DD massively resisting teeth brushing which is getting no better, mainly its brushing the front of her top teeth which makes her go absolutely ballistic and scream in what seems like pain which makes it virtually impossible to brush well.

Today I tried to have a good look to get to the bottom of it as I've noticed she has some yellow plaque at the top of her front tooth which is naturally really worrying me ....and I think she has a lip tie. The skin comes all the way down to the bottom of her gum where there is a gap in her teeth.

I've read other threads and people say no one will treat this until around 6yrs+ but is it something that can be done if its causing pain and ultimately having an impact on the health of her teeth?

My DS has upper lip tie, but I'm no expert, you really need mawbroon.

Thank you, I hope mawbroon might see the thread Smile

Has your DS had any treatment for it / has it caused any problems?

I've booked her a dentist appointment for next week but I doubt she'll even let them in her mouth.
