11 month old - rash on ear?

Hi all - any suggestions on what this rash might be? (pictures attached).

DD is well in herself, just with a chesty cough following bronchiolitis a couple of weeks ago. This rash appeared this afternoon, and is just on her ear. It doesn't seem to be bothering her.

Appreciate any advice!

Bit late: Ds used to regularly get viral rashes, and they frequently started on the ear. They could last anything from 24 hours through to 2 weeks. I only worried if they started spresding rapidly, although they did land us in A&E on more than one occasion as they didn't fade under pressure.
He rarely seemed even slightly ill with them.
