Any ideas what this rash is please?

DS (10) has it. First appeared yesterday. He is completely fine otherwise. Planning to take him GPs in the morning.

It's all over his body.

Could be any number of things! Pictures of rashes are pretty difficult. Ds1 looked exactly like those pictures in my very subjective opinion when he had scarlet fever. But he also had an untypical presentation which none of the various Drs he saw over the course of the week as his rash got steadily worse recognised as scarlet fever until one decided to do a swab to rule it out as it had been going round at his childminder's so I'm not about to diagnose it!

That is what I was thinking Almostnever!
My 8 year old has just recovered from this and it looks very similar.
