How many months old is this baby

If a baby was born on the 18th of October 2014 due to be 24 weeks tomorrow are they 6 months old? My friend has this baby and I said 'oh her will be six months tomorrow' and she said no he isn't until the 18th. Am confused

Months aren't 4 weeks long so the baby will be 6 months on 18th April

If a year is 52 weeks 6 months is about 26 weeks which is the 18th April
