No temperature. Just grouchiness and vomiting milk an hour to two hours after feeding.

Is this something I go to the doctor about?

You should go to the doctor but tomorrow you might get an appointment at the walking in centre only. Your baby might be constipated or might have some reaction to milk but he/she can also has a virus. Could be just unwell from not being able to poop.

are the nappies still wet? You need to be careful they are not dehydrated but hard to guess how much sick is coming back up. Could be teething a lot of babies get grouchy and bad poo nappies but can also be sick also. Gets its all stomach related and off colour.

Definitely take to the doctor. Sounds like constipation but whatever it is needs resolving. Im assuming there has been wee and baby is not dehydrated?

Yes plenty or wees. Still feeding perfectly well and as often...

Sorry OP, I hope your little one is better and you have made an appointment. Ignore "walk in" centre in my first post. I thought today is Saturday.
Can your child eat yogurt as it might help to move the bowels? Also, a massage of the tummy is good.

Dd2 5 months went 3 days without poo there but it arrived in the end. She vomits anyway because she's refluxy. She's fine.

Ineedacleaningfairy · 02/04/2015 11:07

Is your baby breastfed? It's normal for breastfed babies to go a long while between poos (my first baby went 9 days onceShock)

Karma1981 · 02/04/2015 13:02

If it isn't a usual thing your baby does then I would be a little bit more worried that at 5 months your baby has suddenly started vomiting and is finding it hard to pooh.
As it is a bank holiday weekend I would ask for a call back from your doctor and see what they advise.
It is not really an emergency unless your baby is not having wet nappies, or is in a lot of pain.

A bit worried about 8 year old son. Huge lumps behind ears and other glands are up too. Tired, bruising a bit more easily and change in temperament over the past month. He is quick to cry and flies off the handle which he never has done before. Worried there is more than underlying virus. Doc on Wednesday of next week. Any thoughts?
