has anyone had this prescribed for their dd?
my 5 yo had been having on - going problems with very frequent weeing. ABs were helping even though tests weren't showing infection. on and off ABs since November whilst waiting for peads appt.

At last saw pead a couple of weeks ago. prescribed low level daily AB and ovestin cream. .. The thinking being these is a low grade hard to shift infection or/and vaginitis.

Two weeks in and she is a different person. great! However the cream has changed he appearance of her vagina... not painful but looks swollen. . gp advised reduce use of cream. done this but now poor dd is beginning to suffer again. back to v frequent weeing today Sad Sad

anyone with experience of something similar? two weeks until we see the consultant again and I can't bare to see poor dd suffer again as it affects her in so many ways (basically won't leave the house apart from for school )
