Bad Breath/Gums Bleading

Hi, My DS has really bad breath and his gums bleed when we brush. He has little blisters on his tongue and is having difficulty eating. I had him at the doctors and he has been prescribed a medicine for a viral infection.

I not convinced this is what is causing his gums to bleed. Anyone else came across this? He is 1.5 yrs.

It sounds like Gingivostomatitis which does indeed make gums bleed.

Google that. Blisters, bad breat, bleeding gums in toddler equals the above condition....and it is viral.

Thanks MrsFlannel! I looked it up and all the symtoms are identical to my DS. And by the sounds of it, its gets worse before getting better Sad. The joys!
