After all the dramas with her sodium levels poor dd now has a cold Sad she's very bunged up and extra whingey. Is there any tips to help make her as comfortable as possible. Poor little mite has had a bit of a rough start so far

Turn the shower on really hot and stand in the bathroom with her, poor little thing, it's really sad when they have their first cold.

Get a snot sucker thing and a Vicks vaporiser. (Buy the eucalyptus oil in sainsburys though as it's much cheaper).

Make sure you persevere with feeding. Mine didn't want to take much so was up for three nights. I thought it was discomfort from cold but I think he was mostly too hungry

She's struggling feeding at the moment as she's so bunged up, been sick a couple of times after eating as well nothing substantial but seems to be mainly mucus x

My daughter has a cold around the same age and using a saline nasal spray helped, especially before feeds. Seemed to keep her nose clear for long enough for her to breathe and feed at the same time. Calpol do one and it's suitable from birth. Hope she gets well soon.

Thank you, have got nasal drops but it seems to be more her sinus' that are blocked as there's no visible mucus in her nostrils. VERY grizzly tonight and coughing/retching after every bottle causing her to vomit, all very distressing for her Confused
