Preventing chicken pox scarring ?

My DS has chickenpox. He has been pretty good at not scratching and they are now stabbing over. I was wondering if there are any recommendations for easing chances of scarring ? He has a couple of large chickenpox on his face .

Completely unrelated to c.pox but I know that when I had stitches in my arm I was recommended to use cocoa butter lotion and decleor prolagene to minimise scarring and was interested in whether anyone has successfully used anything for c.pox.

Watching with interest as I have the same issue with DD1(2.9) at the moment. Poor thing is covered in them, about 10 on her face and loads everywhere else. My plan is to use bio oil for a couple of weeks after the scabs fall off, but any better suggestions would be gratefully received Smile

We used vitamin E on DS's spots. Unfortunately for the worst two on his face (which he kept scratching) he hates having the vitamin E on there and scrubs it off!
