Tonsilitus

DD is 3 years old and has tonsillitis, the Dr has prescribed antibiotics which is raspberry flavoured. DD hates is and is refusing to take it. I'm having to hold her and force her to take it, which both of us are hating (and getting covered in it). I'm concerned she's not getting full doses (though I'm not topping it up or messing with the dosage).
No amount of bribing or explaining has done any good, we're just having screaming melt downs every time.
We've had the same problems in the past with banana medicine, though she will take calpol at the drop of a hat.
Any help or advice would be greatly welcome

Is it phenoxymethylpenicillin they're on? If so you have my sympathies! My dc has just come off it as it wasn't working.

I recall the bottle saying it can be mixed with fluids and yoghurt, perhaps try in a petit filous or something equally strong tasting? We did dose, block of chocolate, child whinging for 20mins! But my dc is a lot older than youra

After just checkin the bottle you're right as to what it is (doffs hat at your amazing spelling skills)
Bribing is just not working and she's a fussy eater as it is I think she might smell it a mile off!
Ho hum will keep trying

If you peel the top layer of label off it should say somewhere on it if it can be mixed in with other foods or fluids
