7 yo with an on-off limp

For the past week.

Not ill, hasn't injured it, said "oh yes it does hurt in my thigh and behind my knee" when asked but hasn't complained otherwise.

Is this a doctor visit thing or a wait another week to see if it goes by itself thing?

It is not normal for children to limp - see your GP x

Could be virus related, could be Perthes, could be something of nothing but best get it checked.

My dd2 had Perthes Syndrome, only sign was a limp. Wasn't there all the time. You'll need a referral to orthopaedics I would think.

Hope it gets sorted, but as a pp said, limps need checking.

If he's otherwise well I'd give it another week (just in case he twisted it running or something) and if not better then see a GP.

Limping child needs seeing.
