Any one else got a sweaty baby?

My baby boy is 9 months old and very active....started crawling about a month ago, and standing and pulling himself along furniture about 2 weeks ago. He is hilarious and does not stop EVER. Currently chasing the dog under the table to steal his ball.

However I have noticed that he gets really rather sweaty, mainly in his hair, especially behind ears. Is a sweaty baby quite normal, or have I got a 'special situation' here? I have never heard of a sweaty baby....

My boys are the same, their dad is like it too. Its fine.

My DD was like this, so don't worry.
Please though a 9 month old under a table with a dog and a ball is a worry. Confined space both baby and dog could feel scared and an accident might happen. I say this as a long term dog owner.

I've had 2 sweaty babies. They are now a sweaty 3 year old and a sweaty 5 year old, and are just fine Smile.

My two were very sweaty when they were younger, when they went to parties on bouncy castles etc they always had a sweaty hairline. They did grow out of it though, and aren't that sweaty now as teens.

Thank you so much all! I feel much reassured...despite his sweaty hair...his daddy is quite sweaty too! Stinky boys!

Lonecat, I am totally with you on babies and dogs together. Especially as my grumpy old shih tzu was very peeved for the first 6 months of baby arrival. They have finally made friends but to reassure you baby and dog are never alone together, including under the table...
