Whooping Cough

DD just coughed (once) and at the end she made a whooping sound which made me think of the whooping cough. She's been coughing a bit, no mad bouts of coughing just once every now and then. I don't think she has any other symptoms. Do babies cough with the whooping sound randomly sometimes? She's only done it the once so I don't know whether to start worrying or not. I'm a highly anxious person.

It isn't just the whoop...it's coughing until you are puce in the face and struggle to breathe.
Vomiting after coughing is also common.
Don't panic yet!

Has she been vaccinated?
If so it's very unlikely she has it.

She's fully vaccinated so far, next one's are at 4 months

They make some very funny noises at that age :)

They make odd noises. Croup sounded similar to me and there's tons of that about too atm
