Ds is 4w 2days old. He was breech and delivered via c section. At 2 days old the consultant came round and mentioned the shape of his head.
We had our consultant appointment yesterday and got sent for an x Ray. Just got to wait now.
Feeling scared and worried.
Is anyone in the same position?

Definitely speak to your hv. I was luckily able to avoid pnd but it was close and my hv team kept a very close eye on me (not that I realised at the time but they did pop round/ring a lot).

I know it's much easier said than done but honestly try not to worry about it too much. It really is great that it's been picked up so early - which hospital have you been referred to?
I can't answer your coronal question I'm afraid as DS is sagittal but if you want to see pictures of him I occasionally blog about our Cranio journey - the blog is part of the mumsnet bloggers - blogforbilly.

Tomorrow is finally the date of his appointment at Birmingham children's hospital with the cranio facial team to finally start finding out what's going on after 2 months of waiting.
Mixed feelings tonight. I've been waiting for tomorrow and dreading it at the same time x

We had good news on Monday at Birmingham children's hospital. He does not have craniosynostosis. It was music to my ears. He just had a very lumpy bumpy head with plagiocephaly and torticolis. He doesn't want to see us again for another 12 months and the original consultant saw him yesterday and she doesn't want to see him for another 3 months!
Just need to hope his head rounds off in time :)

Hi I know this is an older post, but looking some advice about my 4 month old. Health visitor feels baby’s head is a little strange at the back and soft spot is small. Do you think this could be Craino?

he looks perfect from the front but head does bulge at the back a little.
