How often to bath with eczema?

I'm sure this will have been tackled before, but googling isn't giving me any clear answers.

Dd is 18 months and eczema flares up now and again.

How often should we bathe her? Currently twice a week (my skin v sensitive and is awful if I fully submerge more than that).

What are your experiences?

My DS has mild, he is 4 and I try to only put him in the bath once a week. This keeps his eczema under control from autumn through to spring. However when summer comes round and paddling pools
and beaches mean more time in the water and more baths his eczema always flares up.

I think its very much a case of suck it and see.
We've settled on every other night as a compromise between small boys having a homing devise for muddy puddles, and not damaging the skin too much.
Having bath oil seems to help - we got a bit lax recently, and both boys skin has flared up.

We go for once per week plus one or two showers. We only use oilatum bath stuff and shampoo. Though I've just found out that body shop shower gel is soap free so we're trying it out cautiously.

We were advised as much as possible, by dermatologist. Using dermol 600 (oil plus antibacterial) very good. We try for every night, manage every other.

I had previously thought it should be rarely....

Skin very good at moment. Combination of regular epaderm ointment, silk PJs and strong steroid as soon as it flares.

My gp said every night for at least 10 mins with oilatum and followed by double base gel.
Having a flare up now (he's 13m)
A friend suggested going dairy free- have any of you tried that?
I might try...
