Please excuse the food in her teeth, photo was taken before bedtime brushing!!!
What are the spots on DD's tongue? She is complaining they hurt, has a cough and tummy pain.

I can't really see but if they are oval type blisters they could be hand foot and mouth?

Also on her tonsils on her left is that a white spot or just the light? If a white spot keep an eye as it could be bacterial tonsilitis.

I didn't realise the photo was small, if you click it to make it bigger you can see yellow round spots over her tongue. Yes they are white lumps in her tonsils, we noticed that too :/

I can't tell you what it is, but both DS and DD1 have had spotty tongues (as in a swollen Tate bud on the tongue) and complained of sore tummies this week.

Haggisfish · 24/02/2015 22:51

Might be thrush or tonsillitis?

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 24/02/2015 22:53

They look like mouth ulcers don't they? Confused

Poor DD. No idea what the problem is (unless it's hand, foot & mouth) but it doesn't look very comfortable.

Coffeemonster1 · 25/02/2015 10:16

Yeah I thought it looked like little ulcers, but wondered why so many? And how do kids get them? Not sure it's hand food and mouth purely because she had it before with spots on palms of hands and soles of feet, but this time it's only the mouth.

I would say tonsillitis due to spots on tonsils. We have glands in our tummies and so this could explain tummy ache as she is fighting off an infection

PingleToff1 · 25/02/2015 19:11

Could be thrush. I'd get to the doctor.
