Norovirus - DS went to the toilet 14 times yesterday!!!

DS started last Tues was sick and diarrhea lasted until Friday. Sat began to eat then yesterday Tues had diarrhea again 14 times!!!

Surely this is not right Dr says it is normal and takes time for it to pass

Sounds like gastroenteritis ( have you all had it?) as that is a returner.

I would remove as much dairy from the diet as you can for a fortnight to allow the tummy to mend (dairy irritates) and feed bland things. Plain crisps are good - salts and fat to keep the body going and gentle on the digestive system.

thanks dr recommended all white foods bread, baguette, jacket pot, rice and banana. No rushes to the toilet today so fingers crossed its passing.

No strangely weve not had it and DS has slept with me the last 4-5 days
