Flu type bug

Does anyone else's child have this? It started with a really high temperature and just being generally unwell, no energy, appetite ect. We are now on day 5 and his temperature seems to of settled back down but he is full of cold and still really unwell, he is only two so can't tell me how he is feeling. Just wondering how long it lasted if your child has had something similar.

It sounds like a virus to me. As long as the temperature is getting down, he should be feeling better soon. It's normal that he's still feeling bad since he's weak, fighting the illness and congested. Try a nasal aspirator (we used to use Nobu baby and they're excellent) to get rid of the snots, that makes a huge difference. As soon as he starts breathing more easily, he'll feel better.
