Hi All,

I was watching my 6 month old niece on Friday, she started crying so I went to pick her up but she dropped her blankie on the floor, I bent down to pick it up and as I got up again she lurched backwards and I heard a cracking/ crunching noise come from her back. She had a little cry and then seemed OK. My sister is adamant my niece is fine but I just feel so so awful and cant help worry that I may have harmed her. She has been smiling and playing as usual. I know my sister (babies mum) knows her and knows best and I shouldnt worry but i cant help it. I really do feel so awful and I wont pick her up again.

She is seeing the health advisor tomorrow but I wanted to take baby to see a baby osteopath.

Am I just being paranoid??

Any answers or advice would be really appreciated

Thanks All :) xXx

I'm sure she's fine. It's natural to worry but her mama will know her best and let's face it, babies are very supple and tough! I know it's hard but try not to beat yourself up about it :)

Thanks Nadaley! I just can't help but feel bad. Hopefully the health visitor tomorrow will put me at ease. She does seem happy enough though xx
