Teething and high temps

Is there any links between teething and high temps? My dd is nearly 10 months old and has cut 8 teeth. We've had a break from any more cutting for about 2 months now so I'm guessing molars are next. I can see a bit of white under her gums and she's got a red cheek. But does anyone else find their dc's temp raises when teething? I got told by a gp that teething does not cause raised temps.

I think my DCs normally had a slightly raised temperature when teething although it's been a while now. She might be fighting off a cold or something as well causing a temperature?

It's normal for them to have a slightly raised temperature but it shouldn't go above 38.5. if it's higher than that there's probably something else to blame.
