My daughter had been having issues with her pooing for a good while now, she had a fissure inside her anus when she was a little younger, she is 6 now, which led to her withholding her poo which tended to make it worse, and she is still quite nervous of going to the toilet and will often wake in the night as her body tells her it's time to go. We have been addressing it by changing her diet, encouraging her to drink more, and also supporting her by not making it too much of a big deal. My problem now is that she had been left with an anal skin tag, which sometimes bothers her, and I have seen the doctors a few times, arranged to see a specialist once, which was then cancelled by them because they said it is not a priority case. Just been to see the doctors again and he has said that a specialist would recommend leaving it, and it is just something she has to live with. Has anyone had any experience of this issue and any advice to offer? Sorry for the length of this post, new to mumsnet

Anyone??

My dd has one. Her dermatologist had a look and said it's very common. It should not cause any problems, but sometimes it itches.
