Hi all, a few weeks ago i started cooking dinner and noticed the oven smelt really bad like burning plastic and to my horror i had put a plastic chopping board in caught between baking trays that had melted so bad it burnt Shock
I just had the oven cleaned today by a professional company who said on the phone they didn't use chemicals but used the astonish products on it. when i asked him he said astonish are a tree hugging company and the products are harmless cleaners and its all okay to start using oven again. I just turned it on and the smell is so awful my eyes are watering. I turned the oven on and left the door open with the fan on and windows open to clear the smell, but when i closed the door it stated to smell like a burning chemical smell. Is this really bad? Im really worried for health reasons being pregs and having little ones Confused
