My 15 week old has a stoma bag and I have been advised by the doctor to keep her off food for as long as possible but she's constantly hungry.. she is having 7oz of formula milk every 3 hours through the day and night but is only 12lb as a lot comes straight out of her stoma. Any advice on how to settle her or help her feel more satisfied?

Do you have a stoma nurse or dietician? I would contact them.

To me personally 7oz three hourly seems quite normal, it's what my DC drank. Although they don't have the stoma/weight issue. Have you tried adding an extra ounce?

I wonder if you're concerned about the weight gain if you contact a dietician they might consider some milk with added calories, there's all sorts they can provide. She is too young for weaning, and food doesn't provide all the calories they need, they get that from the milk.
