In-growing toenails

My DS (2.5) appears to have ingrowing toenails. This is ENTIRELY my fault as, when he was a baby, I was for some reason paranoid about him having very long nails and trimmed them excessively. I feel very very guilty now as his big toenails are weird. What do I do about the in-growing one? Is it a trip to the doctor or is it something I should sort out myself?

See a chiropodist (or podiatrist?) I guess?

yes, try a podiatrist. They sorted out an in growing toenail for me years ago.

GP is best. I've had problems on and off all my life and so have my DC.
