Does my 3 year old need a podiatrist?

I have recently noticed that my 3 year old DD's ankles roll in a lot. I wore orthotics in my own shoes as a teen for ankles that roll in, and my problem was not as pronounced as DD's. Should I be taking her to a podiatrist for correction now and make buying shoes for her chubby little feet even harder?

No, don't take her yet, she is too young for orthoses. They will just tell you to come back in a few years time or if she is in pain.
Instead put her in good quality leather shoes with stiff sides that will hold and support her foot.

Ok thanks. I will hold off for now.
