Diarrhoea in 15mo for 4 days

My lo has had diarrhoea for 4 days now. She's only going twice a day (normally once) but she's seemed a little off colour tonight, more so than earlier in the week. She's taking water and is still eating at mealtimes, albeit even fussier than normal! Would you take her to Dr or do tummy bugs just take a few days to pass? I've been a prolific mumsnetter this week, but just find the advice so useful.

Twice a day is not classed as diarrhoea, but she may have a tummy bug causing more liquid nappies and being off colour and off her food. It's not unusual for severe diarrhoea to go on for 4-7 days so it not really worth seeing the gp until then. She should carry on having wet nappies every 4-6 hours and if these go down significantly or she becomes drowsy she will need to be seen. Obviously if other worrying symptoms occur ring 111

Thank you so much. I didn't realise it wouldn't be classed as diarrhoea so it's useful to know its a tummy bug and should wait longer. I really appreciate your advice
