Dd is covered in a rash

Dd has had a bad cough for around 3 weeks, went to docs last week who said it is not on chest. Tonight she has a red raised spotty rash from her ears , across her cheeks, chest, back, genitals and thighs. She is also complaining of a sore throat and still coughing. Viral or something more sinister?

Is it like sandpaper?
Sounds like Scarlet Fever to me. Go back to the doctor to confirm.

It could be a viral rash, but it sounds like SF.

It does feel like sand paper but doesn't look as red as pictures of scarlet fever rash, couldn't get her in the doctors so took her to the pharmacist who said looks like her body reacting to a virus so have got cream to soothe x
