Overdue pre-school jabs - am I right to wait until cold completely gone?

That's it in a nutshell, or can you leave the booster too late for it to be effective? Poor DD is in the wars at the moment and has had a nasty cough for about a month. GP won't give antibios. Not sure what's the right thing to do. We've had the letter now saying the jabs are well overdue.

wait until she is 100% better before getting them done.

I think GP advice is generally not to worry about a cough or cold for vaccines.
However, I don't blame you for wanting her to get a bit better first...

Was just checking vaccine schedule for mine (Canada) and there are some injections that they advise being given between aged 4 and 6 but "preferably aged 4" which suggests there is probably a wide window for the boosters to be effective but earlier is better.

I agree to wait until 100% well again.
