I was a single parent in the 1970's at a time when meagre and limited Welfare was available. Now Welfare is being destroyed and with it the lives of many parent/s and children.

So I have to ask myself why this cross party group of politicians have not acted previously to prevent the destruction of Welfare and the huge rise in living costs which is leading to a lifetime of trauma and misery for millions of children.
