7 month old dd has 'the cough'

I know the whole world has this cough at the moment, ds had a chest and ear infection last week and I pulled a chest muscle through coughing when I had it for three weeks. but dd has had a cough for weeks and it's getting worse. Coughing all the time, making herself sick, not sleeping and wheezing.

Ds suffers from viral associated wheezing and has a blue inhaler; there's no asthma in the family but is this tendency likely for dd too?

Taking her to docs tomo but feel helpless :(

If a 7mo is wheezy and unwell I think you should seek a medical opinion . Bronchiolitis is a common complication in younger children of an otherwise mild viral cold infection(RSV) and they can deteriorate suddenly.

At the same time you should think about the food she eats.
Food is very important to get to the bottom of her problem.
Symptomatic realizes will have side effects in longer term.
Elimination of cold and sugary food product could be a good start.
