Flu vaccination and a cold

My 11 year old dd has had a cold for a few days and still has cough and sore throat.
Saturday is the last drop in clinic for the vaccination and it is always a nightmare getting an appointment for the nurse.
Do you think I should still take her, she is eligible because of a heart defect.

Can you phone and check with the nurse?

As long as she hasn't got a fever she can have the flu vaccine.

Check her temperature before you go - if it's over 37.5 then she shouldn't have it really.

to be honest.
Her body is weaker now. Vaccination will make it worse.
You can surely make another app once she is fully recover.
