Any idea how girls under 10 get this when they haven't been on antibiotics ? Could it be food related ?

I believe some people are more susceptible to it and need to watch their sugar/white flour (ie bread etc) intake or their gut flora can imbalance.

also - a sweaty environment eg wearing lots of man made tights/knickers?

Thanks mini - that's what I was thinking about food because all else is normal - will look into cutting down on sugar and white flour

Oh and also eat plenty of live probiotic yoghurt, ideally the unsweetened ones, to help sort the gut flora.
