ds 18 mnths is on antibiotics (started today) for his sixth ear infection since april. Hes being referred to ENT. he seems to be ok, no temp, eating and drinking and playing and laughing.

We were meant to be going to a firework display sunday but dont know if the bangs and being out in the cold will be ok for his ears.

Bearing in mind he's ok in himself would you take your dc out for fireworks?

Tbh, I wouldn't have at that age as mine would have hated the bangs. But, if he's not unwell and you think he'd enjoy it I'd wrap him up warm with his ears covered and go.

Definitely not

thanks for replies. He's absolutely fine with bangs (at least popping balloons anyway!) but was thinking not to in case it made his ears worse being in the cold and what not.
thanks again

I wouldnt

No. At 18 months watching from the window is enough.

Can you park somewhere nearby and watch from the car? Warm and muffled bangs!
