dd 10months. Bad throat and cough, saw Dr today he said virus. But she won't eat or drink hardly anything and just keeps crying. Tried bottle syringe cup, it just obviously hurts to swallow.

any ideas?

Ice pops? Keep up the calpol and ibuprofen alternately to help with pain. Go back if you are worried, trust your mummy instinct.
