Ok I have 4 dc eldest is 7 and they've thrown up but dh has always been home and they've never thrown up this young.

Ds 2 started throwing up tonight. So quick as Qs as I've no idea, do I,

  1. put him in his own bed OR mine OR make him a comfy nest that I can easily clean?

He's a also putting his fingers in his mouth in his sleep, and making an odd gurgling sound when doing this, he's stopped now but why is he doing this?

I feel quite lost I should know what to do but puke isn't my thing, I have no idea what to do for the best. Thanks :)

How old is he? I vote for easy clean nest. At least until you can be sure he's stopped.

He's 2 yrs and usually clingy but he's understanbly even more so.

I don't like puke last time I puked I hoovered it up as I couldnt bare to clean it, dh gave me a bit of a lecture. I bunged all ds puked cushion and clothes straight in the washer, I didn't rinse it, I'm hoping it all going to magically dissappear.

Puke things, are they usually over soon? I can't bare ds being ill or any of the dc.

Ds keeps falling asleep and then waking up a wrenching but he's trying to swallow it rather then expelling it and he's grinding his teeth and shoving his hands in his mouth. Does this sound normal.

I'm panicking a tadge, so thank you

You have my sympathies, DS1 (6) had it for 12 hours (hourly pukes) and was seemingly back to normal after a good nights sleep. Poor DS2 (3) started as DS1 finished (Sunday night) and is still puking every few hours now, so I think it affects them all differently.
Luckily both of mine seem to have enough warning to accurately vomit into a bowl lined with toilet roll which can be flushed straight down toilet but at 2 I used to go for multiple layers of towels on my bed and have them in with me.
Hope it's all over swiftly in your house, good luck!

Thanks it's been a tough night and morning but he's asleep now, I'm hoping he'll be a lot better tomorrow. Hopefully older 3 dc won't get it, fingers crossed. Thank you again.
