Hi everyone I'm new here I'm just looking for some advice support.
my dd us 3 months and had been diagnosed with silent reflux she use to scream all day and all night would not feed and if she did screamed whilst feeding. She is bottle fed btw. She is on omeprazole which has helped alot but she has dropped 2 centiles on her Weight chart she has been to a dietitian who changed her milk to nutramigen lactose and cows milk free milk which didn't make much difference and she gagged at every bottle. She's still very tiny and hasn't gained much since birth it's really hard and I don't know anyone dealing with this to talk to. She's on aptimil comfort which seems to suit her best she's been on sma comfort which didn't agree with her.
Thank you in advance! ! xx

Have you ruled out tongue tie? It can also affect bottle fed babies?

Also is she getting enough sleep? I wouldn't worry how she sleeps, just get her sleeping at this age. Dummy, sling etc whatever it takes. Being overtired can cause massive screaming fits.

Hi thanks for replieing yes she had tongue tie at birth but it tore itself and she no longer has it. She does sleep alot but struggles to stay asleep due to the pain of her refluxConfused

Are you sure it is not grown back? It can happen?

Also does she take down air with feeds?

For naps I used a sling as this kept mine upright. They slept much better forit.
