Chicken pox/vomiting 6 month old...

My six month old has had chicken pox. Sunday was the worst of it, he vomited morning and evening quite a large amount. He is breastfed and had the odd bit of veg. Ended up in hospital but after talk of keeping him in we were allowed home.
Since then he's improved lots, today I'd say he's 95% back to normal and his spots are healing quickly.
Tonight he has woken up crying which never happens as we co-sleep. I picked him up and he's vomited a large amount. He's now gone back to sleep.

It may be coincidence but tonight was the first time he's eaten anything in almost a week.

Since starting this post he's vomited again but again gone back to sleep.

Any idea what this could be? Are the pox and vomiting related? I'm getting worried. He's never vomited before this week.
He also has a tooth emerging which is probably unrelated.

If he has started to eat again and hasn't eaten in a week, maybe it's his tummy just getting use to food again.

If worried, follow your instinct, ring 111

I agree, follow your instincts.

I have no idea if they are related but if you're worried, don't have any qualms about getting him checked as many times as you need to

Just thirding the advice to follow your gut and seek professional advice if you are concerned. Fwiw, when ds3 had CP, he just seemed to be over the worst, then took a massive downturn and needed a hospital stay. Instinct just told me when he started fussing (at night too, it always bloody is!), that he needed to see a hcp. Take care and I hope ds is ok. Thanks
