Nits?

DS7 has been complaining of itchy scalp but we've never had nits before so don't know what I'm looking for. Can't see anything crawling but did see some tiny brown dots stuck to his scalp-are they the eggs? TIA

Loads of help if you google it, but basically get yourself a nit comb, apply conditioner to damp hair, comb through, and have a look. A magnifying glass can help see if it's nits or just dead skin

eggs get stuck to hair not the scalp. You need a nit comb and conditioner to check whether he has lice or not

Lice can be v hard to see just by looking.
If they're scratching and you can see brown egg like things sounds like lice.

Buy a white nit comb (£1 for 2 in asda), Wet hair, add conditioner, put white towel round neck, comb hair through in sections. Particular attention to behind ears.
Google what lice and eggs look like if you need confirmation!
Keep combing thru once or twice a day for 2 weeks.

(Can you tell my dc have just had lice?!!)
