DS1 started pre-school in september. I'm probably far from unique in experiencing a constant round of illness since. The poor chap barely gets over one thing before he's down with the next. He's had three colds, one has left him with a bad cough he can't shake. Now he's got slapped cheek virus which left him screaming in agony after pre-school yesterday. He's better today but I'm not taking him in for his last session of the week tomorrow - if nothing else at least we can be sure he'll have a better half term break as he wont have caught anything new.
Of course my 6mo baby has caught everything off him and that's miserable and has totally screwed up his night sleeping and the oh has caught most of it too and now has a cough that disturbs the neighbours, not to mention me and the baby. I've been a little luckier and am not so ill, but I've not dodged it all and as I'm still feeding baby I can't take anything which has made sleep pretty much an impossibility some nights.
And I was thinking that starting pre school would make life a little easier! Tell me I'm not alone in this....
