DD swallowed a feather!

So earlier on today my six year old daughter swallowed a feather from a cushion. She didn't choke or anything afterwards and was fine. I called NHS direct who said to take her to hospital.

They weren't concerned as she was eating and drinking normally. She said her throat was sore and kept livking her lips and swallowing.

I am worried about the sharp pointy end?

Do I just need to calm down and if the doctor isn't worried then I shouldn't be? An thinking of sleeping in next to her just in case.
