DDs tummy issues (11 months)

Dd is 11 months.

A week or so ago started teething again.

Red cheeks, chewing on finger, broken sleep (although sleep always broken, just worse), refusing food (again to unusual just ate a lot less than the small amount that she already eats) and had wind. The wind though was not normal. It was like living with a big, over weight trucker who lived on baked beans and chick peas. People didn't believe it was her passing wind. There was so much of it, it was so small and loud. She also has not had a solid poo since this all started, it is v v runny, burns her bottom and smells of sick.

The wind has abated somewhat but she is still going to the toilet abut 6 times a day and it is the same runny, smelly stuff that is burning her.

She is sleeping a lot better than she ever has though but I don't know if this is due to being shattered as is poorly or as she has just started walking and is exhausted from that.

Would you take her to the doctors to see if she has some kind of tummy bug. I'm just worried at how long it is going on. She is rather small for her age and so probably can't afford to lose a lot of weight if this continues any longer. I've tried probiotic powder but she throws it up!

Sorry to sound like a neurotic mother, she is number 3 but I seem to have forgotten all of this stuff completely!

Tbh i would take her in - it's best to check.

That said my dd's worst teething stint had very runny nappies, acidic poo, and she was off her food for 4/5 days so it could be that.

I's still take your DD in though...

Doctor said no milk for 48 hours just water or diaralite until the diarrhoea has stopped.

Going to try her on combiotic hipp rather than aptimil once her tummy back to normal.

My DD was on HIPP too. Hope she is better now.
