15 week old not responding to voice

my 15 week old doesn't turn to my voice or even respond to it when I speak. He watches us when we walk round the room, makes some eye contact, smiles when smiled at and responds to noises such as loud bangs, Hoover etc so it's not a hearing issue in worried about. His brother has a genetic condition linked to autism and this little one has a 50/50 change of inheriting the same condition, I'm beside myself. Up until 2 days ago I thought he was developing perfectly now I've convinced myself he isn't! Am I just being paranoid?

Sometimes parents are a bit boring compared to other things going on. I remember finding it hard to get my DC's attention at that age

Agree with PP, my DD is same age and she just seems to focus on what she wants to focus on.

Can you test for the condition? If so then gave you been tested yourself if it's something like fragile x say ?
But he is v young wait few months then get an assessment if you worried

Yeah but the hospital hasn't got back to me yet about arranging an appointment which will take long enough in itself then the blood tests take about 3 months to come back too. It's something me or his dad have probably passed on but it's not fragile x. I want us all tested at once to see who it's came from. Pointless I know but it will drive me mad not knowing which one of us it is xxx
