Hi my lo fell off sofa earlier today and has lump /bump on back right of his head . He has been fine all day , no signs of vomiting or any of the other things to look for , are his lunch , dinner and bed bottle fine . Slightly more agitated but this could be teething!

Question is the lump feels a bit squishy ,? He doesn't flinch at all when I touch his head ? Should I be phoning the hospital guys?

I think if he us acting normally, no vomiting, lethargy etc he is probably just fine. I always watch them for 24 hours to be sure.

Thank you for replying , yes he is a little more tired and agitated throughout the day but everything else seems normal ? The lump is a little worrying , what does a normal lump look and feel like ! ?

Just keep an eye on him and call 111 if you are worried to get some advice. I have found them very helpful on a few occasions (including when my 8 month old took a trip down the stairs)

Don't panic but I would get it checked out. I took DS1 to A&E a couple of times with bumps and remember they said that a bump not being firm should be checked out. I'm sure it's fine but - maybe call 111 for advice?

If its squishy then u must take to a&e. Pls take him now.
