Constant runny nose - teething?

BooseysMom · 05/10/2014 21:20

Hi,
I have a 11 mo who has been suffering with what looks like a cold for the last 3 months. He has a constant runny nose, but no fever or rashes. Could it be teething? He already has 4 teeth thru and we can't see any more on the brink of cutting through. I wonder if we should take him to the doctors but he hasn't a fever or any strange rashes and doesn't seem to be in any pain.
Thanks to anyone who posts

Entirely anecdotal, but clear snot has always meant teething here. DD is 11 months.

Thought so, thanks AnythingNotEverything. It just seems to have been going on for ages and yet no teeth have come thru apart from the 4 he already has.

Allergy?

Hi Annietheacrobat, Thanks. I considered allergy,(eg. dust) but he has it outside the house too. It seems to have cleared up a bit now though and today we can see there is a tip of a tooth cutting through next to his top ones.

Yes. Teething. My 14mo is the same. Drooling and snotting a lot.
