Chicken pox, or not?

DD was sent home from nursery yesterday with four red spots on her back and top of the thigh, presumed chicken pox as another child there had it last week. I've checked this morning and there are no further spots, although I know cp can sometimes only have a few. However the ones she has, haven't blistered at all which seems to me like it perhaps isn't cp? Looking online, the spots should blister within 24 hours.

So, does anyone have experience of how cp spots develop? Do I need to wait longer to see if they do blister or can I assume it isn't cp?

Ds had two red pimply non blistery spots for 2 days before they blistered and he got hundreds more.
