Hi, I've noticed over the last month that DS has been getting a lot of bruises but didn't think much of it as he never sits still so could have easily banged himself.

But tonight he's been leaning on the bed on his arms playing on his DS and got quite bad bruising from where the pressure would have been on his arms. Is this normal or not? Bit worries but don't know if I'm panicking unnecessarily as I have a friend with a little boy with luekeamia so don't know if I'm just hyper aware of symptoms if you know why I mean. He doesn't seem any more tired than usual, but he maybe has a big less energy. I'll add the pics so you can see the bruise. Thankyou

It could be lots of things, not necessarily the worst!! I can appreciate how you feel though as I have a close friend who's Dd had leukaemia - she is now a healthy 12 year old.
Take him to your GP to be checked over.

Yeah I'm sure it's nothing, he's been complaining of stomach ache for the last few weeks too, which we put down to anxiety.

Saw the doc this morning, DS has a full blood count on Monday so that will hopefully put my mind at rest :)

It's good to hear about your friends DD :)
