May sound like I'm panicking but me, my husband and my 15 month old are due to go to away on our first little holiday on Monday with another couple and their 2 kids. The other mam and kids have all suffered from a stomach bug over the passed 2 weeks but had been symptom free for nearly 6 days and her husband has just come down with vomiting today and we are due to go away with them on Monday!
My big worry I'd spending amour first holiday away I'll as I'm sure he'll be be infectious by then and the thought of my baby getting this bug! I'm stuck in what to do? :-(

Hopefully he won't be infectious by then.

If he stops vomiting etc, he's generally infectious for 48 hours after last episode.

These bugs are mostly passed by particles from the vomit or Diarrhea, so I think you will be fine . Buy some detox wipes the ones that kill viruses not just bacteria and wipes things down.

Hand washing is also a good idea.

I think you will be ok, if the rest of the other family have already had it.

Anti bacterial hand gel won't do a thing as its a virus, you can buy anti viral gel for hands from boots.

Hope you have a lovel time
