Is this Head Lice?

Noticed that DS has some white bits in his hair...looked like white tiny balls in one cluster on the top of his head.

I have a nitty gritty comb (metal one) and have combed and combed through his hair this morning in the bath and washed each comb in water but no black or brown lice.

Was wondering if it was a flaky scalp but seemed strange that it was qhite ball type things on the hair strands but couldnt get any lice out

Hi, frustrating they are so little!
If its lice they will be ball type blobs just above the scalp. They are attached to the hair. They will move up and down it but not brush off. I've had nits but never seen a louse. They are tricky! If its flaky or can be brush from one hair to the next it's flaky skin.

If you do want to continue looking for lice. Cover your ds's head in conditioner, and comb section by section. Examine the comb after each pass, rinse and wipe then repeat.

Good luck, hope its dandruff but if not its easily treatable.
